18th Biennale of Sydney

Biennale is one of the major events in the world of contemporary art, like the biennials of Venice and Sao Paulo. The event takes place in the city’s museums and galleries allowing the public to discover works by Australian as well as international artists. The theme for the 18th Sydney Biennale is stories, listening and uniting people. When: Between Wednesday 27 June and Sunday 16 September Where: Along an Art Walk from the Art Gallery of NSW to the Museum of Contemporary Art, Pier 2/3 and Cockatoo Island.

March into Merivale 2012

Yet again this year launch of March into Merivale was sensational. The event attracted huge crowd of stylish people sampling the food dishes on offer which proves again when it comes to events such as this the Ivy is the numero uno location. The oyster prawn plate was my fave. I am sure foodies will enjoy the deals on offer in the coming weeks. Venue: The Ivy 330 George Street, Sydney.
